Our Story

Founded in 1981, Concordia CPE is located in the Grey Nuns Residence building and serves up to 80 children.

We are a non-profit organization governed by a board composed primarily of parents, with active family involvement at the heart of our community.

Our Mission

Provide an environment that ensures the child's health and safety.

Our program provides opportunities for physical growth, intellectual, social and emotional development emphasizing self-help skills, cooperation, and the building of self-esteem. All staff members are qualified professionals in the field of Early Childhood Education. Professional development is valued and supported by the centre to ensure quality childcare for the children and their families.

  • Our educational program acknowledges and encourages learning through play experiences and peer interaction.

Admissions & Practical Information

Our waiting list is managed by a new Registration Portal from the MFA La Place 0-5. You can register on their website or by telephone at 1 866 747-6626514-270-5055. It is important to mention that you are a Concordia University staff, or student member, or have a child already attending our CPE, as the case may be, when you register.

Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Open year-round, the Centre observes similar (13 days) holidays as Concordia University.
